Neapolitan Pizza Dough Balls

Your pizza dough will be delivered frozen or semi frozen. If you don't intend to use the dough immediately remove from the box and place in the freezer.

1 - Remove your dough balls from the wrapping and place them in to a proofing tray or airtight container. Put the container inside the fridge and allow them to defrost. This will take a few hours. *Note If you're in a hurry you can remove the dough balls from the wrapping and defrost them using the 'defrost' function on your microwave.

2 - Once defrosted remove the dough balls from the fridge and allow them to prove at room temperature for approximately 4 hours. They will flatten and expand - they are now ready to use.

3 - Stretch the dough by hand using your preferred method. Start pressing with your fingers in the the middle of the dough ball and stretch outwards. For best results use semolina flour to aid with sticking and to improve usability.
